Overton Playgroup runs separate sessions for pre-school children (those due to start school the following September) and the younger children from 2 years 9 months.

Sessions for the younger children are held at:

Overton Community Centre Monday to Friday mornings from 9.00am to 11.30am.

Sessions for the pre-school children are held at:

Overton Community Centre Monday to Friday afternoons from 12.30pm to 3.00 pm or at

the playroom at Overton C of E Primary School Monday to Friday mornings from 8.45am to 11.15am.

We also run a lunch club for the pre-school children after the morning session at the school and before the afternoon session at the Community Centre. For a fee of 50p per session the children can bring in their lunch and eat together as they will do at school.

Lunch club times:

11.15am to 11.45am for children attending the session at Overton School and

12.00pm to 12.30pm for children attending the session at the Community Centre.

Overton Playgroup’s terms usually run in line with the local schools – please check the monthly newsletters for more details.

The cost of each Playgroup session is £6.00. Fees are payable each half term and bills will be sent out accordingly. Weekly and monthly payments can also be made.

Nursery education is provided free to all children from the term after they turn 3 years. Each child can have a maximum of five sessions per week funded by the Government. We are registered to accept Government funding for Early Years Education and forms will be sent out at the appropriate time for you to complete for your child. (This situation is changing annually and we will keep you informed.)
